Bunmi Biu - Practice Lead
Bunmi Biu is a strategic human resources and organizational development executive with over 20 years of experience advising corporations, government institutions, and nonprofits across diverse sectors globally. With a rare blend of academic rigor and executive-level practice, Bunmi helps senior leadership teams navigate complex people and organizational challenges — translating diagnostic insight into measurable, sustainable transformation.
Bunmi's practice is built on a foundational belief: that people are not a cost to be managed — they are the primary engine of organizational performance. Her work is evidence-based, outcome-focused, and executed in genuine partnership with the organizations she serves. Rather than applying off-the-shelf frameworks, Bunmi integrates business strategy with organizational development thinking to create human-centered solutions calibrated to each client's specific context, culture, and competitive environment.
Bunmi works collaboratively with HR departments, C-suite teams, and functional leaders to develop data-informed, actionable plans that address both immediate organizational threats and the structural challenges that will emerge at the next stage of growth. Her engagements are hands-on, implementation-focused, and designed to build internal capability — not ongoing dependency.
She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial & Business Studies from Warwick Business School, an MBA in Finance from Cass (Bayes) Business School (UK), and a Bachelor's degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos. She serves as an Adjunct Professor of Global Human Resources and Capstone Project Advisor on the graduate HRM program at Georgetown University, Washington, DC — bringing real-world advisory experience directly into leadership education.
Her client portfolio spans for-profit corporations, government institutions, and not-for-profit organizations across multiple sectors and geographies.
